My body of work is inspired in part by a Qur’anic verse describing the Day of Judgment, when mountains are said to crumble into carded wool. In my practice, this image is inverted: I attempt to remake and regather the mountain, one needle strike at a time, exploring resilience through the labor of reconstruction.
